Pooja Gandhi also known as Sanjana Gandhi, is a popular actress in Kannada film industry. She comes from Punjab. She studied at the New Delhi government school. Her father, Pawan Gandhi, a businessman. She left the research environment during their first year of graduation, when she is able to act in Bengali cinema. Since then she has never looked back and is associated with success in South Indian film industry.

She made her debut in Bengali film "Tum Åke bacon, released in 2003. She moved to South Indian film industry with the Tamil film" Kokki, later became a big failure. She also appeared in "Dhamad Ke Intizaar and even complete opposite Vaitheeswaran" Tamil Movie "Sarath Kumar.
